The 2015 American-Canadian Tour (ACT) schedule is shaping up to be one of the biggest in recent memory. The U.S. Tour will hold 13 point-counting events and three special events at 12 different tracks throughout the northeastern United States and Canada, featuring a variety of long-standing events, new tracks, and new alliances.

Oxford Plains to run double header ACT and Pro All Stars Tours on Saturday, April 18
A joint announcement between the American Canadian Tour (ACT) and the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) last November came as great news throughout the short track industry, particularly in the Northeast. Principals Tom Curley (ACT) and Tom Mayberry (PASS) decided that, after a decade of competing against each other in the region, it was time to re-energize the region’s full-fendered stock car racing competitors and their fans. They formed a working alliance for the 2015 season.
Valenti Modified Racing Series schedule for 2015
The news from the Valenti Modified Racing Series is that the tour hired Warren Alston as the Race Director for 2015. Warren was the flagman last year and brings a lot of experience to the position. Flagman John Spence, Jr, will be his backup when needed and already has two shows to do this season.

The Laperle Brothers race team from Montreal, Quebec have entered the ACT American Racer Challenge Cup to be contested at the New Smyrna Speedway (NSS) in New Smyrna Beach, Florida on Monday and Tuesday, February 16-17, 2015. Thunder Road offers 18 events in 2015

Thunder Road officials have released the 2015 Thunder Road schedule of events. The schedule consists of the customary 18 events from opening day on Saturday/Sunday, May 23 through the Milk Bowl on Saturday/Sunday, October 10/11. The season is highlighted by several big events including visits from the American Canadian Tour (ACT) during the season opener on Sunday, May 23 and the Pro All-Star Series (PASS) on Mekkelsen Memorial Day Classic on Sunday, May 24. Jessey Mueller wins the Northern Modified Challenge Series

Young stock car driver Jessey Mueller has officially been named the champion of the Northern Modified Challenge Series (NMCS). The 19 year-old from Olmstedville, NY put together an impressive run of victories and podium finishes during the season to become the second champion in series history. The NMCS is a unique tour that pits open-wheel Modified stock cars against each other on both asphalt and dirt surfaces. Continue reading
