The ACT will bring something different to Devil’s Bowl Speedway this Saturday night.

 

The cars and stars of the American-Canadian Tour are ready to invade Devil’s Bowl Speedway, but the home track favorites are waiting and primed for a 100-lap stock car battle.  ACT, the northeast’s premier Late Model stock car series, returns for the annual People’s United Bank 100 on Saturday, June 4 at 6:00 p.m., and the region’s top drivers will face off against the local speedsters. There’s always hot Friday night racing action at the Lee USA Speedway in southern NH

Lee USA Speedway opened up the 2016 weekly NASCAR Whelen All American Series season on Friday night, with 2014 Rookie of the Year Lance Barthelemy of Fremont taking down top honors in the 30-lap EKeys4cars Supermodified feature event. Leslie Keyser of Northwood brought the field to green, and he quickly moved out to the lead as the field sorted out behind. 2014 champ Jake Stergios of Candia brought the race under caution after just two laps when he was sent into the backstretch wall, sliding to a stop in a shower of sparks in turn three. Monadnock Speedway results

NASCAR Weekly Racing Championships will be determined this Saturday night at Monadnock Speedway.

Monadnock Speedway continues to be one of the bright spots for racing action on Saturday nights in western NH.

This past Saturday at Mondanock Speedway was a scorcher, with the heat of the day came even hotter racing. They had four caution free features and the Granite State Prostock Series made their presence known with their 100 lap feature event.

Cabral was at the right place at Riverhead Raceway on Long Island

Randy Cabral was in the “right place, at the right time” last Saturday evening, as he was victorious in the Northeastern Midget Association’s first return to Riverhead Raceway in nearly 40 years.  It was a historic victory – as it marks the seventeenth consecutive season that Cabral has been victorious, breaking the long standing record set by NEMA great, Dave Humphrey of Seekonk.  It also ties Cabral with Russ Stoehr of Bridgwater for 3rd on the all time NEMA win list with 49 wins.

It was lots of action for the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl over the Memorial Day weekend

 

 

Tyler Chadwick was the showcase story of a speedy five event racing card Saturday evening at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl. Chadwick led every lap of the 35-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series SK Modified feature for his first victory since August 8, 2015. Continue reading

Jon McKennedy, of East Chelmsford, MA, played his usual waiting game making tire maintenance a top priority, battled through a failed power steering pump on lap-30, then took the lead from race leader Russ Hersey on lap-79, to go on and win the 100-lap Valenti Modifed Racing Series first ever race at Groveton, New Hampshire’s, Speedway 51 Saturday night.

Saturday results for Devil’s Bowl Speedway

Six Tribute races wil be part of the 2016 schedule at Devil's Speedway in W. Haven, VT.

Jimmy Ryan came home the winner in the Sportsman Modified feature at the Devil’s Bowl Speedway in West Haven,VT.

 

Jimmy Ryan may have led every lap of the Bond Auto Parts Sportsman Modified feature race on the Asphalt Track at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Saturday, May 28, but the box score won’t show just how wild the action was behind him.  The veteran stock car racer from Shoreham, Vt., outlasted a rough-and-tumble field of competitors to end a six-year winless streak at the inaugural “Yorkmont Memorial Day 5000” and headed a winners list that included Josh Masterson, Jim McKiernan, Zach Wood, and Jeff Murray.
