The People’s race, Enduro 200 goes this Sunday, August 2 at Thunder Road

 

The 31st running of the M&M Beverage Enduro 200 will be held at Barre’s Thunder Road this Sunday, August 2. The “People’s Race” will feature 200 laps of motorized mayhem in boneyard-stock cars with no yellow flags and only occasional red flags. More than 50 drivers have already signed up for the $3,000-to-win event with many more expected on Sunday. Continue reading

HUTCH TAKES FIRST WIN ON SEASON IN LATE MODELS AT SEEKONK

David Hutchins, Jr. stormed past polesitter Nick Uhrig into a lead he would not relinquish late in lap two. For thirty laps, he was challenged by Uhrig, Austin Blais, and for the final twenty-three by last week’s feature winner: Dylan Estrella. But Hutch was on his toes and had a hot set of wheels as the race ran green after a lap six caution. The leaders remained consistently in position as the speed of pursuit made passing difficult. At the finish, Estrella claimed second, followed by Austin Blais, Bobby Pelland III and Jeramee Lillie. Continue reading

The cars and stars of the Granite State Pro Stock Series were the added attraction at Lee USA Speedway on Friday night, while the Supermodifieds had the night off, and NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model Sportsman, Hobby Stock, Ironman, and Pure Stock feature events rounded out the program at “New Hampshire‘s Center of Speed“.

Thursday night stock car action at the New London-Waterford Speed Bowl brings new drivers inot the track’s ladder system as well as providing inexpensive entertainment.

New London-Waterford Speedbowl was back in action Thursday evening under ideal summer weather with another mid-week motorsports racing card.  Todd Taylor of North Stonington led the way with a career first victory, picking up the night’s eight cylinder Super X-Car feature win.  Michael Blaskey of Waterbury won his fourth INEX Legend Cars race of the Thursday season, Nickolas Hovey of Chaplin recorded another INEX Bandolero triumph, and Eric Finkbein Jr. of Manchester was the four cylinder X-Car race winner.
