When the green flag falls on the 44th Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler this season, Oxford native Troy Talman will find himself making his Sizzler debut in one of the most recognizable rides on the Whelen Modified Tour. Talman teamed up with the #3 Boehler Family team, out of East Freetown, for the 2014 season ending race and that relationship has blossomed into a full-time ride for the 2015 season with sponsorship from Cape Cod Copper, Riverview Industries, and NAPA Ayer Auto Parts.

NASCAR Modified star Charlie Jarzombek to be inducted in the Class of 2015 of the NY State Hall of Fame on Jan. 24

A trio of outstanding drivers and two highly respected promoters will comprise the 2015 Hall of Fame class of the New York State Stock Car Association. Dirt track heroes Pete Bicknell and Kenny Brightbill will be joined by the late asphalt star Charlie Jarzombek on the driver’s side, while Marcia Wetmore and Howard Commander were elected for their accomplishments in speedway management and promotion. ACT Tour returns to Thompson Speedway at the Oct. 2015 World Series of Stockcar Racing

Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park (TSMP) in Connecticut and the American Canadian Tour (ACT), based in Waterbury, VT have agreed that the 2015 ACT Championship Late Model stock car season will crown the ACT Champion at the famed Thompson World Series event on Saturday, October 17, 2015. Richard Savary hopes that his win streak continues at Stafford on Friday, July 18

As the Valenti Modified Racing Series prepares to return to Stafford Motor Speedway on July 18 for the Lincoln Tech 80, Holbrook, MA native Richard Savary is riding a hot streak. Savary has won the last two VMRS races leading up to the Lincoln Tech 80 and he has three wins overall this season, giving him the distinction of being the only VMRS driver with more than one victory thus far in 2014.
