When the green flag waves for the 44th Annual NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler on April 25 & 26, 2015, NAPA Auto Parts will be geared up for their second season with Stafford Motor Speedway. NAPA Auto Parts became the Elite Corporate Sponsor and the title sponsor of the track’s marque events, the NAPA Spring Sizzler, the NAPA Fall Final, and the uniquely formatted NAPA SK 5k, prior to the start of the 2014 season. After a 20-year hiatus, the INEX / U.S. Legend Cars returned to weekly competition at Stafford Motor Speedway in 2014. After a limited schedule in 2014, the Legend Cars will run all 21 Friday night events plus the NAPA Spring Sizzler and NAPA Fall Final weekend events for a total of 23 races in 2015. The 2014 SK Modified season at Stafford Motor Speedway was a season full of excellent competition on the track and the race for the championship came down to an ultra-tight race between Ted Christopher and Ryan Preece. Preece was the more dominant car with 6 wins and 4 second place finishes over the 17-race schedule, while Christopher was able to win just once. Preece also had 12 top-5 finishes while Christopher had 8, but the difference in the final points table showed up where Christopher’s worst finish of the season was 9th while Preece had 3 finishes outside the top-10.
