The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) will compete in three 150-lap events on three completely different tracks in all three northern New England states to open the 2015 season. The New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150, now re-set due to snow on April 28, is the usual traditional opening event for ACT teams held yearly at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, NH. Teams will now start off the 2015 season at Oxford Plains Speedway (OPS) in Oxford, ME on April 18, then Lee USA followed by their annual visit to Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, VT on May 3.

The 2015 ACT Tour to visit Florida’s New Smyrna Speedway will have a different look

The first trip to New Smyrna Speedway (NSS) in 2011 ended up with 28 very diverse teams. Half the teams were “regular ACT touring teams”, the rest were from various elements of the overall ACT Late Model racing program that covers a wide area of the Northeastern US, and Provinces of Quebec and Ontario. Two former winners and a new young gun were the first to accept invitations to the 6th Annual Bond Auto ACT Invitational to be held at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) on Saturday, September 20, 2014. Winthrop, ME’s Jeff White earned his second career American Canadian Tour win as he led nearly every lap of the 150 lap event at White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, NH on Saturday, June 21. Kyle Welch takes his first ACT Tour win at Riverside Speedway

Kyle Welch of Newport, NH earned his first career American Canadian Tour win at Riverside Speedway in Groveton, NH on Saturday, June 7. Welch inherited the win after apparent winner Eddie MacDonald was penalized for a post race tech infraction. MacDonald was penalized to the last car on the lead lap in 11th place. Continue reading
