Lime Rock’s Trans Am race was fast and furious. The 100 miles of action interrupted just once for a short two-lap delay. Paul Fix, who’s been racing at LRP since 1989, kept his Tony Ave Racing Chevy Corvette up front, not much bothered by defending Trans Am champ Simon Gregg (4.2 seconds back in the Gregg Motorsports Vette) and a charging Cliff Ebben in the Stumpf Ford/McMahon Group Mustang.
