Eddie MacDonald of Rowley has gone on to win just about every major regional Late Model race, including championship efforts in the NASCAR K&N Series, the Oxford 250 (twice), Bond Auto ACT Invitational at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway (twice), Thunder Road’s famous Milk Bowl, and recently he swept the triple 100 lap features in a very competitive field at the World Series of Asphalt Racing at New Smyrna Speedway.

Eddie MacDonald is pumped up about three nights of ACT Tour racing at New Smyrna Speedway

The American Canadian Tour opener at New Smyrna Speedway in Florida will feature three nights of racing as part of the World Series of Asphalt Racing with Eddie MacDonald ready to participate in the inaugural American Racer Challenge Cup. The Cup Challenge is slated to take the green flag for two 100 lap events on Monday, February 16 and Tuesday, February 17. The ACT cars will also be in action on Sunday, February 15 as a stand-alone 100 lap event made possible when a racing series cancelled their participation. Continue reading
Rowley’s Eddie MacDonald will be looking for his first 2015 win at New Smyrna Speedway next month

Many of the long time race chasers in the Northeast have talked about the big half-mile at New Smyrna Speedway (NSS) in Florida being just like an extra-large Lee USA Speedway in Lee, NH. If that is an accurate assumption, then one former Rookie-of-the-Year and two veterans from the American Canadian Tour (ACT) will have an edge going into the February trip to Florida at the “World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing”. The American Racer Challenge Cup will post $35,000 for teams from throughout the Northeast and Eastern Canada on Monday and Tuesday, February 16 and 17, 2015 in a unique twin 100 lap event over the two days.
