OHV Safety and Responsibility Course Requirements
Operators under 18 years of age must take the OHV Safety and Responsibility Course to legally operate in Massachusetts. In order to obtain an OHV Safety and Responsibility Course completion certificate, you must complete two distinct courses. The first course is the online safety course offered by an approved provider. Upon successful completion of that course, you must sign up for and complete a two hour classroom course which will cover Massachusetts-specific content.

Step 2: Sign up for a Massachusetts OHV Safety Course (listed below)
You can only sign up for one of these classes with proof that you have successfully completed the general safety training course by one of the online providers linked above.
What to bring to the course: Please bring a pen or pencil and proof of successful completion of the OHV Online Safety Course.
Please note: Students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Please note the class ID number. This number is required in order to complete the online registration for the class held at your facility.

This Law has been on the Books for 7 years they are now
enforcing it, in order to Race in Massachusetts you will
need to follow these Rules or you may be fined
and not allowed to compete.
The Transponder needs to be registered and
charged prior to the event.

To Rent a Transponder the Rental will be $10 with
Drivers License & Credit Card or $200 as Deposit
plus $10 for Each Holder Needed
Extra X2 Transponder Holders will be
