YES – we ARE racing Saturday, Aug 1st at 6:00pm
Please read this entire post before asking questions
We are picking up the season schedule where it currently stands – so Aug 1 we’ll start with GROUP 2.
The weekly group rotation remains the same – but the spotlight races have been changed.
RACE DAY SCHEDULE –
SATURDAY AUGUST 1, 2020
GROUP 2
- Pit Admission = $20 (all)
- Grandstand Admission = SEE TICKETING INFO BELOW
- PIT GATE = 1:00pm (tires will be avail for purchase)
- PRACTICE = 2:50pm – 4:50pm
- GRANDSTAND = 4:00pm (VIP pass), 5:00pm (general admission)
- DRIVERS MEETINGS = 5:00pm
- GREEN FLAG = 6:00pm

* Per state of Maine CDC guidelines, face coverings are required where social distancing is not possible.
* Hand sanitizing stations provided
* Concessions will be open & limited – you may bring your own food if you wish
* If are ill or are concerned about your safety, we respectfully ask you to not come .. remember this is an invitation to join us (not a mandate)
The remainder of the 2020 season will feature the following for races & race teams:
- no points / no championships
- Heats: open draw for starting position in all heats
- Feature: Start where qualified – (exception) previous feature winners will start feature behind all non-winners – top 3 from the previous week to back
- scaled payout based on car count
- after week 1 there will only be 2 rounds of practice for each division
2020 GRANDSTAND TICKETING INFORMATION
GRANDSTAND NOTE 1: Per guidelines posted by the state of Maine under the “Spectator Sports” addendum to “Large Gatherings”, all race tracks – including Wiscasset Speedway – have been permitted to have a limited number of fans in the grandstands with restrictions
- maximum of 200 people (4) separate sections of 50 people
- other restrictions on entrances/restrooms/concessions
GRANDSTAND NOTE 2: Because of the required safety recommendations, the following changes have been made for the remainder of the season.
- No smoking in the facility (patrons may go out to their vehicle)
- No 50/50 sales
- No program sales
- Limited concessions (you may bring your own food)
- Limited Kids Club activities (Kids Club table will be outdoors near the main entrance)
- Kids must remain with parents when on the grounds
- Souvenir stand will be open, but a limited number of customers permitted at once.
- Face masks recommended wherever social distancing is not possible (entering & exiting the facility, concessions, restrooms, souvenirs)
- Hand sanitizing stations provided throughout the grounds
Because we have a limit of 200 grandstand seats available per show, we are offering the following ticketing options
OPTION 1. VIP SEASON PASS
(COST = $55 All ages)
VIP TICKETS ON SALE MONDAY 7/27 THRU FRIDAY 7/31
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM call (207) 491-3720
(credit card only, first come first serve, do not leave a message)
- This will provide preferred admission to the 10 remaining regular race programs – does NOT include Boss Hogg 150 or Fall Fury
- Fans purchasing VIP pass will be able to reserve specific grandstand section, but not a specific seat
- Will provide pass holder preferred early entry to grandstands from a separate check-in table = 1 hr prior to general admission grandstand sales (typical race day will have 4 pm VIP admission / 5 pm general admission / 6 pm race program)
- If VIP ticket holder arrives after general admission sales begin – and maximum occupancy has been reached, they may use the ticket to get a $5 discount off pit admission.
- Purchased passes can be picked up (will-call) at the VIP check-in table on race day
OPTION 2. RACE DAY GENERAL ADMISSION
(COST = $5 per show – based on availability / no presale)
- When general admission sales begin for each race program – we will only sell the number of tickets remaining after VIP ticket holders have checked-in by 5 pm, in order to reach our maximum occupancy limit of 200. (the number of tickets available will vary week to week)
- Once we have reached maximum occupancy (200) anyone remaining will have the option of purchasing a pitside ticket for $20
OPTION 3. RACE DAY PIT ADMISSION
(COST = $20 per show – no presale)
- Minor release forms required – available at the pit gate
- Children must remain with an adult at ALL times
- Pit ticket holders are not permitted on the grandstand side
