2020 SEASON ABOUT TO BEGIN

Well finally here on July 27,2020 we have our first positive announcement of our 2020 race season. On Saturday, the 25th it was confirmed by the management of the New London Waterford Speed bowl we will be opening our 2020 season there on August 8th, 2020 ( pending the town issuing a CO permit ).

We are looking forward to bringing The Modified Racing Series thunders back to life at the New London -Waterford Speed bowl the facility has been undergoing a major renovation project over the last few years . This Project is a work in progress that is going to make it a premier racing venue in New England.

More details on this event will follow in the coming days including purse structure and the final times and race details.

Notice to all competitors there will be no member ship fees this year do to the current situation. We will apply the prepaid membership fees to the entrance fees for each event or you can chose to apply it towards the membership for 2021 season.

Things that we do know at this point are that the event entrance fee is going to be 100.00 for each event ,tires will remain at 165.00 each . Also, for the remainder of the 2020 season the series will be allowing the NASCAR WMT SPEC engine to run in the series following NASCAR WMT rules and must have all NASCAR seals.
