The Xfinity and Cup teams will head even further west next weekend to compete in Fontana, Calif., at Auto Club Speedway for Round Three of the 2020 season. The Truck teams will take the next two weeks off and hook back up with the other series at Atlanta in mid-March.

We’ll see you back here Sept. 25-27 when all three series teams return to do battle for their respective championships.

6:55 pm – Brisco Wins the Boyd Gaming 300 – Chase Briscoe made it look easy, beating Austin Cindric to the checkers by 2.5 seconds to score his third career Xfinity Series victory. Briscoe led five times for 89 laps, including the final 36 circuits. Briscoe took the lead after a round of green flag pit stops and never looked back.

“That was really a team win,” said Briscoe. “As soon as the sun went down, it seemed like in dirty air, we just weren’t very. In clean air, obviously, there at the end, we were really good.”

Cindric led five times for 39 laps and was driving the only other Ford in the field.

“It seemed like as it cooled off a little bit, we got a little too tight and didn’t quite keep up with adjustments. But overall, we had a great night. It’s always great to race your best friend for the win but you hate to see him beat you.”

Ryan Sieg, Noah Gragson and Harrison Burton rounded out the top five.
