Merry Christmas to all,A special thanks to all who attended this year’s events. Next year we will have another fun filled season of events scheduled for your enjoyment! They will soon be listed on our website.  Also please note in the name of the Christmas Spirit, that October 8, 2017, the 42nd Annual Toys for Tots Show was held at Johnston Memorial Park. Those generous gifts donated by your participation at this show will soon be enjoyed by a needy child in our area.

Heads up!

 

Looking through the upcoming holiday which leads onto the longest break of the year, please note that the Lime Rock Park track office will close today at 2 p.m. If you wish to order a certificate for Winter or Summer Autocross programs before Christmas, please give us a call before then at (860) 435-5000.

 

All Holiday Pricing on general admission tickets will be available through Monday, January 1. If you select “Print at Home,” you can even get them as a last minute gift so you don’t have to make that daunting trip to the mall.

 

In addition, the track office will be closed next week to give our employees time with family, and will re-open on Tuesday, January 2.

 

Thank you for joining us for a wonderful 60th year at our favorite secret valley of racing!

PASS South Super Late Models set dates for 2018 Schedule

–        Hickory Motor Speedway To Host Easter Bunny 150 For 13th Straight Season

 

 

CHARLOTTE, NC (December 22) – Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials announced several dates today for the 2018 PASS South Super Late Model schedule.  The South’s original and longest running Super Late Model tour will be highlighted in 2018 by beginning the season with two of the biggest and most prestigious races in the region.  With seven dates confirmed, the PASS South Super Late Models will compete on at least five different venues over the course of the 2018 season, with one date left to confirm and up to two more events possibly to be announced by mid-January. Mikey Flynn to challenge For SK Light Rookie of the Year Honors at Stafford Speedway

It's not very often that a driver like Tom Fearn can back up another  Late Model Championship after 18 years.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—As the countdown to Stafford Speedway’s NAPA Spring Sizzler® continues, the driver rosters continue to fill up for the 2018 season.  Former Legend Cars driver Mikey Flynn is busy preparing his #54 Hamden Engineering machine to compete for R.A.D. Auto Machine Rookie of the Year honors in the SK Light division in 2018.  The 16-year old Flynn comes to the SK Light division with experience in a wide variety of disciplines, ranging from Wild Thing Karts and Legend Cars on the Stafford Mini Mile to ACT Late Models.  With 2 SK Light starts at Stafford already under his belt, Flynn is ready to tackle the challenge of a full season and he feels like his experience across several different divisions will help accelerate his learning curve as an SK Light rookie driver.

Travis Hydar Ready to build on impressive Street Stock Rookie season at Stafford Motor Speedway

(Stafford Springs, CT)—For for many drivers, making the transition from Wild Thing Karts to the full bodied world of the Street Stock division at Stafford Speedway would prove to be a daunting task.  For 14 year old Woodbury, CT native Travis Hydar, the 2017 season couldn’t have gone much better than it did.  Hydar’s rookie season saw him pilot his #11 Hydar Constrution machine to his first career win in only his 4th career start and he finished in the top-10 in 15 of 17 races during the season.
