Oxford Plains Speedway results

The Oxford 250 has been been scheduled at the Oxford Plains Speedway in July for the past 41 years. The 42nd edition will go this weekend August 28-30.

Gary Smith of Bangor, ME got his first career win at the Oxford Plains Speedway in western Maine.

Gary Smith of Bangor drove to victory lane after charging past a few early race leaders to claim a career-first Oxford Plains Speedway Super Late Model win, topping the Budweiser Championship Series stock car racing card on MacDonald Motors of Bridgton night at Oxford Plains Speedway on Saturday.

New London-Waterford Speedbowl results

The Northeast Street Stock Tour will be performing at the New L0ndon-Waterford Speedbowl this Saturday night.

Joey Gada and  Keith Rocco split the two Sk Modified features on Saturday night at the New London-Waterford Speedbowll.

 

Joey Gada and Keith Rocco were the big winners on a seven feature card Saturday night at the New London-Waterford Speedbowll.  Gada won the first SK Modified feature of the night and Rocco topped the field in the second for the division.

Billy Lussier thrilled his hometown crowd at the half-mile Asphalt Track at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Saturday, June 25, taking his first career victory in a wire-to-wire romp.  Somewhat fittingly, the Fair Haven, Vt. driver’s milestone win came on “Hometown Heroes” Night presented by Rutland Regional Medical Center and Whelen Engineering.  Other winners in NASCAR Whelen All-American Series action included Jamie Aube, Jim McKiernan, and Eric Messier. Joe Squeglia, Jr. of Derry, New Hampshire showed the Pro All Stars Series North Super Late Model touring stars the fast way around Lee USA Speedway Friday night, claiming his first-ever touring series victory over a stellar field of New England’s premiere full-bodied stock car racers.

Ted Christopher scores twice at Stafford with an Sk Modified and a VMRS checkered flags on the same night

 

 

Stafford Speedway returned to NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing action with the Valenti Modified Racing Series in the house for the 6th Annual VMRS 80.  Ted Christopher scored his first SK Modified® feature win in nearly two years, Kevin Gambacorta scored his second consecutive Late Model feature win, Joe Graf, Jr. was a first time career winner in the SK Light feature, Paul Arute took down his third win of the 2016 season with a last lap pass, and Trace Beyer scored his first win of 2016 in the DARE Stock feature. TC takes the second VMRS race of the season at Stafford Motor Speedway

Ted Christopher takes down the VMRS second visit of the season at Stafford in the Brady Bunch #00 with his typical style of driving.

The Valenti Modified Racing Series made its second of three visits during the 2016 season to Stafford Motor Speedway for the 6th Annual VMRS 80.  Taking the checkered flag was Ted Christopher in the #00 Brady Bunch machine.At the start of the race, Ted Christopher and Keith Rocco banged wheels in the first corner with Christopher emerging out of turn 2 with the race lead.  Dan Meservey, Jr. was third behind the lead duo with Carl Medieros, Jr. in fourth and Woody Pitkat was fifth.
