Modified car owner, Joe Brady of Stoughton, was run over and killed in a recent tragic auto accident on Park St. in his hometown, across the street from his Brady Enterprises Christmas Tree lot.  The driver of the vehicle was charged with DUI.  Brady was buried in a private ceremony.  His wife Linda plans to have a memorial service for all his friends sometime in the near future.  Brady was also a member of the NEAR Hall of Fame having been inducted a few years ago.  This writer had the pleasure of presenting him at that ceremony.  A long time fixture on the NASCAR Modified scene, Joe and his driver Ted Christopher made several championship appearances at the World Series of Racing at the mid-February event held at the New Smyrna Speedway in the Daytona Beach area of Florida.
