Not wavering in the weather forecast which calls for showers all weekend, Stafford Motor Speedway in Connecticut will make strong efforts to get the Fall Final this weekend.

Weather will not put a damper on this weekend’s 43rd Annual NAPA Auto Part Fall Final at Stafford Motor Speedway.  The action kicks off Saturday morning with paddock gates opening at 8:30 am and General Admission gates opening at 10:am.  NASCAR Whelen All-American Series & Legend Cars practice sessions will run from 10 am – 11:30 am and 12:45  pm – 2:15 pm with the Whelen Modified Tour practice from 11:30 am – 12:45 pm.  Whelen Modified Tour time trials will begin at 2:30 pm and will be followed by NASCAR Whelen All-American Series qualifying and features for the Dare Stocks, Limited Late Models, and SK Lights.  To cap off the day the Legend Cars will run a 20 Lap National Qualifier race with the winner receiving a guaranteed starting position in the Legends national race Nov 11th-14th at Anderson Speedway in Williamston S.C.

NAPA  Auto Parts Fall Final Sunday will commence with the famous NAPA Auto Parts Pit Party from 11 am to 12 pm.  Fans will have the opportunity to go trackside for the meet and greet with their favorite Whelen Modified Tour and Stafford drivers.  The SK Modifieds® will follow the NAPA Pit Party with a 40 lap feature that will crown either Rowan Pennink or Ryan Preece as the 2015 SK Modified® track champion.  The Late Models will run a 30 lap race prior to the big Whelen Modified Tour NAPA Fall Final 150.  Woody Pitkat currently leads Ryan Preece and Doug Coby in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour championship standings.  All three drivers have multiple Whelen Modified Tour Wins at the half-mile, so this is sure to be a barn burner.

Elsewhere, Seekonk Speedway cancelled the D. Anthony Venditti Memorial, due to the wet weather and  is now re-scheduled for next Friday and Saturday, October 9-10.
