That club will wind up the 2015 season with two more cruise nights set for Thursday’s September 24 and October 8. The move to Raynham Park a few years ago, from Southeastern Regional Votec in Easton, gave the Wheels of Time almost unlimited parking spaces and this cruise night continues to grow.

The MA Cruisers of Norfolk will conduct cruise nights on alternate Thursday nights at Patriot’s Place in Foxbrough staring on April 16. The rest of the Thursday night schedule is April 30, May 14, May 28, June 11, June 25, July 9, July 23, August 6, August 20, September 3, September 17, October 1 and October 15. Some of the dates could change due to rain outs and Patriots pre-season games.  The cruise night officially starts at 5 p.m. when the DJ turns on the music speakers. However, many of the retirees, who own classic cars, start coming in at 2 p.m. so they can get a preferred spot close to the food and rest rooms. Especially when there is no threat of rain.

Some early birds on cruise nights from the Camaro, Mustang, Corvette and Mopar clubs stake out a row for their club members around 3 p.m. When the weather co-operates there can be as many as 2,500 vehicles on hand by 6 p.m., due to the large parking lots. As well as 5,000 fans on hand viewing the vehicles. It’s been said that MA Cruisers event is the biggest cruise night in the nation.

In Halifax at the Wal-Mart store on Rt. 106 at the intersection of Rt. 58, the Scituate based Connecting Rods offer a another top cruise event on Friday nights starting at 5 p.m. In past years that cruise night has always opened on the first Friday night in May. So with that in mind, that cruise night should begin on Friday night, May 1 at 5 p.m. Before you travel any distance, give Wal-Mart’s in Halifax a call to see if they can confirm that it’s on.
