On Friday and Saturday, September 26 and 27, Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway will be hosting the PASS Series Championship Weekend.  Races for the PASS North Super Late Models, PASS North East Late Model Series, PASS Modifieds and PASS Sportsman will go off on Saturday September 27th.

Saturdays event will have a full card of racing as the four PASS Divisions race are accompanied by Street Stocks, NELCAR Legends and Mini Stocks.

In the PASS Super Late Models, DJ Shaw will be looking to hold off and defend his point lead over Johnny Clark, a six time PASS Champion.  Shaw will attempt to win his first Pro All Stars Series title. In the PASS Modifieds, Scott Alexander will be trying to hold off Andy Shaw to win the championship in the open wheel PASS Modifieds. In the PASS Sportsman Series, Joe Pastore is leading the points with Dan McKeage in second place as both of these drivers are sure to be tough competitors as they battle it out just one more time in the 2014 season.

Friday Night will also be a night full of action as the mid-week divisions have their final end of the year open race that will host; Outlaws, Trucks, Rebels, Bomber 305’s, Cruisers and the Bandits.  The Bandit division was new to Oxford Plains Speedway this year which boasted huge car counts and showed itself to be a division that can get anyone on the race track. Friday Night’s race will also host the awards ceremony for the Oxford Acceleration Series competitors as they receive their points awards at 6:30 p.m. on the front stretch.

The weekend will host plenty of racing action with New England top short track stars as they leave nothing on the table with one final chance to grab the checkered flag in 2014. The weekend is presented by Ripley and Fletcher Ford.
