Through the first 8 races, Lavoie has posted top-5 finishes in each of the 8 races behind the wheel of the #6 Aspen Hill Farms Ford, including his first career Limited Late Model feature victory on May 19th. Devil’s Bowl Speedway has announced a list of changes to the remainder of the 2017 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series stock car racing schedule for its 1/2-mile Asphalt Track. Morris turns season around with win at Times Argus Mid-Season Championships at T Road

Boomer Morris started the second half of the 2017 Thunder Road season in a big way with a win in the Times Argus Mid-Season Championships on Thursday, July 27. The hometown driver went wire-to-wire in the 75-lap Late Model feature to capture his first win of the season and the Maplewood Triple Crown.
CBYD 811 challenge enters home stretch at Stafford
Since the first green flag of the 2017 season was dropped at the season opening NAPA Spring Sizzler in April, drivers have been competing for wins and accumulating points for the championship races in their respective divisions. At the same time, drivers have also been accumulating points towards the Call Before You Dig 811 Challenge, which will reward 5 lucky drivers each with an $811 bonus on August 11th. Continue reading
Pro 4 Modifieds to run a four race schedule at the Speedbowl
Four race schedule will crown a Pro-4 Connecticut Champion
Dan Meservey (Pro-Modifieds) and The Speedbowl’s George Whitney announced today that a special Pro-4 Modified Connecticut Championship Series will be running at The Speedbowl. The Series will be separate from the Pro-4 Series (Club Version). The dates of the four events are August 5th, August 26th, September 16th and October 21st (The Speedbowl’s Finale weekend).
Since the Pro-4 Modified runs two groups Limited’s and Unlimited Modifieds, the two groups will offer Championships in both groups at The Speedbowl.
Dan Meservey is working on a Contingency Program for the four race Championship. To date Hoosier, Sunoco and GRE 6 have come aboard to support the four-race series. It will be announced others that will participate in the Contingency Program.

PASS weekend doubleheader set for Southern National and Oxford Plains
Race fans up and down the Atlantic Seaboard will have the rare opportunity to keep up with the action in both Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model divisions this weekend. It all starts on Saturday night when the PASS South Super Late Models take the track for a 150 lapper at Southern National Motorsports Park in Kenly, NC. Then, on Sunday afternoon, the PASS North stars will be in action at the legendary Oxford Plains Speedway in Maine. Devil’s Bowl Speedway’s most successful Modified stock car driver, Kenny Tremont Jr., added two major milestones at the Vermont facility on Sunday, July 23. On Interstate All Battery Center Night, the West Sand Lake, N.Y., driver took the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series’ main event for his 75thfeature race win at Devil’s Bowl and the 350th overall victory of his illustrious career.
