March 13, April 3: Shakespeare Sundays at Milton Library

William Shakespeare

Lovers of the Bard!  The Friends of the Milton Public Library will host a two-part series focusing on two of Shakepeare’s most popular plays, Henry V and Hamlet, and their depictions on film.

David Smith, former English and American Literature teacher at Milton Academy, invites participants to read the plays in advance and come to the sessions prepared to share their thoughts about the play and the film excerpts they will view at the sessions.

The first two sessions will be held on Sunday, March 13 (Henry V), and Sunday, April 3 (Hamlet), and copies of the plays can be reserved online through the Library’s website www.miltonlibrary.org, or by calling the Library’s Reference Department at 617-698-5757, ext 3.
