From September 2 through September 30, the paintings of Rob Franco of Natick will be on display in the Wotiz Gallery, main floor of the Milton Public Library, 476 Canton Street, Milton, MA  02186.  Admission is free to the public.

Mr. Franco won Second Place in a 2014 juried show at the Art Complex Museum. His group of paintings, “Reflections,” depict boats, birds, outdoor scenes, wild Assateague Island ponies, dogs and other animals. This monthly exhibits runs from Sept. 2nd until September 30th.

This is what he says about his work, “My passion for art began at an early age during visits to a neighborhood artist in Newport, RI. This led to training as an illustrator in the United States Air Force and continued as a graphic artist in the Boston area. After studying with renowned artist and teacher, Albert Handell, at drawing and pastel workshops in Woodstock, NY, the focus of my art was portraits of children and animals. A fascination with the ocean and other bodies of water continues to inspire my work.”

He is a commercial artist, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and has worked at several local companies. Please come and enjoy his fine paintings.

For more information about displaying your art, call Jean Hlady, Adult Services Librarian, at (617) 698-5757 (Reference Dept).
