Expert Rory Raven will present “The History of Seances” on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at 7 PM, a unique program to celebrate Halloween at the lower level of the Milton Public Library, 476 Canton Avenue, Milton MA 02186.  Admission is free and this program is sponsored by The Friends of the Milton Public Library.

This fun event will be presented by a “mentalist” who is a theatrical mind-reader; a performer who – using a variety of techniques – is able to produce results that would only seem possible by psychic or paranormal means.  You will learn about the kinds of tricks psychics have used and continue to use to convince their clients of their powers, and you will hear about the history, the fakery involved and famous people who attended séances to communicate with their loved ones.  Audience participation is encouraged and all should enjoy this spooky event!
