In mid-July Dr. Deborah Walters, a 63-year-old grandmother, launched her solo kayak trip, 2,500 miles from Maine to Guatemala. Ms. Walters is raising awareness for Safe Passage, an education program that has changed the lives of the children and families who live within the teeming garbage dumps of Guatemala City.  Her talk and power point presentation will share her expeditions and her experiences. Come and be inspired!

She lands in Pleasure Bay in South Boston and will speak at the Milton Public Library on Thursday, August 7 from 7-8 pm in the Keys Community Room, lower level, of the Milton Public Library at 476 Canton Avenue in Milton.
