Sherlock – Marathon episodes at the MPL on July 22

Binge viewing at its best! The game’s afoot and Sherlock Holmes is back and in the 21st century. Seasons 1, 2, and 3 of the wildly popular PBS series Sherlock will be shown at the Milton Public Library on July 22, 2014, starting at 9:30 AM and running consecutively until 8:30 PM.  The free event is open to the public. The Sherlock Movie Marathon is part of the library’s Milton Reads Sherlock Holmes programming and is sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Library. The library is located at 476 Canton Avenue in Milton.

Sherlock is the British TV crime drama that presents a contemporary adaptation of many of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous detective stories. It stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Holmes, Martin Freeman as Watson, and Andrew Scott as the wonderfully creepy Professor Moriarty.  Nine episodes have been produced. The series has garnered many awards and earned highly positive critical reception.

Due to the nature of the subjects –murder and such—it is not suitable for small children.
