7/29 Free film at the Milton Public Library

Robert Downey, Jr. breathes life into the great detective.  Sherlock Holmes (2009) will play in the Milton Reads series on Tuesday, July 29. The free film will air at 6:30 p.m. in the Keys Community Room (lower level) of the Milton Library, 476 Canton Avenue in Milton.  This free event is sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Library and is part of the Milton Reads special events.

Sherlock Holmes (2009) stars Robert Downey, Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams and was directed by Guy Ritchie.  Our heroes battle with wits against brawn to save all of England. A delightful portrayal!

This film series is part of Milton Reads, which chose The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle for the entire town to read as a literary project, along with enjoying related events throughout the summer and fall.
