Milton Library: April 8 Author Bob Halloran and Impact Statement

Emmy Award winning Bob Halloran wrote about Debra Davis’s murder from her family’s viewpoint in his new book, Impact Statement:  A Family’s Fight for Justice against Whitey Bulger, Stephen Flemmi, and the FBI.  Hear his talk on Tuesday, April 8 at 7 p.m. in the Keys Community Room (lower level) of the Milton Library, 476 Canton Avenue in Milton.  Milton resident Steve Davis, Debra’s brother, will be present.  He was a primary source for the book and will join Bob Halloran for the discussion. The free event, sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Library, is open to the public.

Impact Statement

Bob Halloran also wrote Irish Thunder:  The Hard Life and Times of Micky Ward and served as a consultant on Paramount’s Academy Award-winning movie, “The Fighter.”  Mr. Halloran is the sports anchor at WCVB SportsCenter 5, with a distinguished career in sports reporting.  He is the recipient of a New England Emmy Award and two honors from the Associated Press.  He lives in Milton with his family.
